A MAN who collapsed during questioning over a suspected drug trafficking operation at Sydney international airport has been taken to hospital.
He was one of three men questioned by Customs officials, and then the Australian Federal Police (AFP), after they arrived on a flight from Hong Kong before 9am (AEST) today.
The man is understood to have collapsed during an interview.
"Three men who arrived at Sydney airport this morning, on a flight from Hong Kong, were referred to the AFP by Customs for further questioning," an AFP spokeswoman said.
"One of the men became unwell and was taken to hospital for treatment."
The AFP would not comment on the nature of the man's illness.
The two other men have been detained as the investigation continues.
